Settling up with the consignor

A clean statement of what sold, your commission, and their net.

When the sale is over, open Settlement.

It lists every item that sold, subtracts your commission and any fees, and shows the consignor’s net.

Your commission is your percentage of what sold; the consignor — the estate or family — receives the rest. The statement shows both, line by line.

Add fees like cleanout or advertising if this sale had them.

Preview the statement, then finalize it. A finalized statement is the consignor’s copy — it is locked, and any change makes a new version.

TagLot records sales — it does not handle payments. You pay the consignor the way you always have.
