Exporting your data and deleting your account

Take everything with you any time, free. Close your account when you are done.

Your data is yours. Open More, then Your data, then Export to download every item and every settlement as CSV or JSON. It is free on every plan, today and always — no lock-in, and no plan ever holds your data back.

To close your account, open More, then Your data, then Delete account. TagLot nudges you to export first, then shows exactly what will happen before anything is deleted.

You type your business name (or the word DELETE) to confirm, then confirm once more. That double check is on purpose — a deletion cannot be undone by us.

If you have work that has not synced yet, TagLot asks you to sync your changes first and blocks the deletion until it is safe. This is the zero-loss rule: we never delete an account while a sale is still only on your phone.

If you own the workspace, deleting schedules it for permanent removal on a date shown on screen, about a week out. Sign back in before that date and tap Restore to undo it. There is no refund of remaining paid time.

If you were invited to someone else’s workspace, deleting removes your login from it right away; the workspace and its records stay with the owner.

After the account is gone, we delete your content within 30 days, and backups age out within about 30 days after that. A few records we must keep for legal or tax reasons are the only exception.
